These days a lot of Land Rover parts specilasist do offer stainless steel bolt kits. Like many other items we did invest in such an “upgrade”. The question raised now, is it the stainless steel bolt kit realy an upgrade or better, an expensive down grade? For sure these bolts will not rust but due to the ‘galvanic corrosion’ mild steel items like your hinges will start to rust much more rapidly.
Money well spend? The answer is NO.
Stay away from stainless steel bolt kits, better replace your bolts with new galvanised mild steel ones and use plenty of copper slip.

…. yes it’s the same kind of corrosion problem as with mild steel and aluminium panels revited together without sealant…
